Wildcats upset Longhorns in Texas
The Kansas State Wildcats walked onto the Texas Longhorns' field on Saturday afternoon and handed them their first loss of the season by a final score of 41-21.
The 14.5-point favorite Longhorns never got close to covering the spread, and the Kansas State offense pushed the game OVER the posted 56-point total.
Josh Freeman went 24-for-40 for 179 yards with one touchdown for Kansas State. James Johnson ran for 77 yards on 19 carries, and WR Jordy Nelson caught 11 passes for 105 yards.
Longhorns QB Colt McCoy threw four interceptions on the day with only one touchdown, while RB Jamaal Charles was only able to collect 69 yards rushing on 17 carries.
