West Virginia Defeats Texas 48-45 - Recap
The Longhorns had no answer for Andrew Buie on Saturday as the Mountaineers rolled to a 48-45 win at Memorial Stadium.

Johnathan Gray rushed for 87 yards for Texas, while Joe Bergeron added 45 yards. David Ash threw for 269 yards for the Longhorns, while receivers Jeremy Hills and Jaxon Shipley had 67 and 58 yards respectively.
Texas lost the offensive yardage battle to West Virginia 460-404 yards in Saturday's game. West Virginia had more first downs as that total ended up 26-21.
West Virginia lost the time of possession battle 30:10/29:50, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
West Virginia looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Texas Tech. Texas will aim to get back on the winning track at Oklahoma.
