Freeman fires Wildcats to win
Josh Freeman was 22-for-26 for 251 yards and two touchdowns as the Kansas State Wilcats topped the Colorado Buffaloes 34-21 at Folsom Field on Saturday.
The Wildcats won as 3.5-point underdogs to win on the road, and the 55 points scored were OVER the posted total of 37.
Jordy Nelson was the main target of Freeman's passes with five catches for 117 yards and a touchdown, and Leon Patton ran for 96 yards and a score on 12 carries for the Wildcats.
Bernard Jackson was a dual threat, going 10-for-18 for 145 yards and one score, while running for 105 yards and two more touchdowns. Hugh Charles had 66 rushing yards for the Buffaloes.
