Utah Defeats Colorado 42-35 - Recap
John White scampered through the Colorado defense for 168 yards as Utah handed the Buffaloes a 42-35 defeat on Friday at Folsom Field.
The Utes earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the 23.5-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 50.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.
Travis Wilson completed 13 of 25 pass attempts for 128 yards for the Utes in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Donta Abron rushed for 84 yards for Colorado, while Tony Jones added 23 yards. Nick Hirschman threw for 306 yards for the Buffaloes, while receivers Nelson Spruce and Tyler McCulloch had 98 and 88 yards respectively.
Colorado outgained Utah 418-336 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 25-18 by the Buffaloes.
Utah lost the time of possession battle 31:33/28:27, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
