Wisconsin defence stifles Penn State

No.17 Wisconsin allowed only 201 yards of offence and caused three turnovers in a 13-3 win over the Penn State Nittany Lions at Camp Randall Stadium on Saturday.

The Badgers managed to cover the 6.5-point spread at home, but the 16 combined points were UNDER the posted total of 37.

John Stocco was efficient, going 15-for-25 for 172 yards and one touchdown, while P.J. Hill Jr. had another great game, gaining 148 yards on 31 carries for the Badgers.

Anthony Morelli was quiet while going 19-for-35 for 165 yards and an interception, and Tony Hunt was held to 35 rushing yards in 11 attempts for the Nittany Lions.
