Warriors upend Aggies
The Hawaii Warriors handed the Utah State Aggies their fifth straight defeat, 50-23 on Saturday night in Honolulu.
The Warriors were 17-point favorites, and the final score soared OVER the posted total (60 1/2).
Hawaii quarterback Colt Brennan went 24-for-36 for 386 yards and two touchdowns, and also ran in one of his own.
Aggies pivot Leon Jackson left the game in the third quarter with an injured shoulder. Jerod Walker took over and quickly racked up 188 yards rushing and 88 yards passing in a losing effort.
It was the first time these two teams had met since 1966.
