Indiana Falls 45-22 to Nittany Lions - Recap
Matt McGloin's 395-yard performance through the air was the key in Penn State's 45-22 win over Indiana on Saturday at Beaver Stadium.
The Nittany Lions were a 16.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 55.5.
Zach Zwinak rushed for 135 yards, while Michael Zordich added 49 yards in the win. Allen Robinson and Matt Lehman added 197 and 46 receiving yards respectively.
D'Angelo Roberts rushed for 28 yards for Indiana, while Isaiah Roundtree added 13 yards. Cameron Coffman threw for 454 yards for the Hoosiers, while receivers Shane Wynn and Stephen Houston had 108 and 90 yards respectively.
Indiana lost the offensive yardage battle to Penn State 546-478 yards in Saturday's game. Penn State had more first downs as that total ended up 24-23.
Indiana lost the time of possession battle 33:46/26:14, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Penn State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Wisconsin. Indiana will aim to get back on the winning track at Purdue.
