Iowa vs Michigan Recap - Hawkeyes Win 38-28
Adam Robinson tore up the turf for 143 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Hawkeyes to a 38-28 win over the Wolverines at Michigan Stadium.
The Hawkeyes were a 3.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 54.5.
Ricky Stanzi completed 17 of 24 pass attempts for 248 yards for the Hawkeyes in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Denard Robinson rushed for 105 yards for Michigan, while Vincent Smith added 39 yards. Tate Forcier threw for 239 yards for the Wolverines, while receivers Junior Hemingway and Darryl Stonum had 134 and 97 yards respectively.
Iowa was outgained by Michigan 522-383 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 29-21 by the Wolverines.
Michigan led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 31:00/29:00 split in that important category.
Iowa looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Wisconsin. Michigan will aim to get back on the winning track at Penn State.
