Germi Morrison rushed for 66 yards for New Mexico State, while Travaughn Colwell added 22 yards. Andrew Manley threw for 309 yards for the Aggies, while receivers Austin Franklin and Kemonte' Bateman had 115 and 76 yards respectively.
Idaho was outgained by New Mexico State 407-386 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 23-20 by the Aggies.
New Mexico State lost the time of possession battle 30:56/29:04, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
