Arkansa State wins big at home

The Arkansas State Indians proved to be too strong for the Southern Methodist Mustangs, handling them easily 45-28 on Saturday night.

The 3.5-point favorite Indians managed to cover the spread against SMU, and the combined score went OVER the posted 51.5-point total by the final whistle.

Arkansas State quarterback Corey Leonard was 23-for-34 for 267 yards passing and ran in three touchdowns on the night. Reggie Arnold had 19 carries for 157 yards and one touchdown in the win.

SMU quarterback Justin Willis was 21-for-40 with 261 passing yards, and he added another 95 yards on 14 carries in the loss.
