Irish fight way past Panthers
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish got three rushing touchdowns from Rashon Powers-Neal on Saturday as they rolled to a 42-21 win over the No. 23-ranked Pittsburgh Panthers.

Notre Dame QB Brady Quinn went 18-of-27 for 233 yards in the win, tossing two TD strikes and getting intercepted once. Darius Walker scored twice for Notre Dame, and Jeff Samardzija had a TD reception.
For the Panthers, Tyler Palko was good on 20-of-35 pass attempts for 217 yards. Palko ran for a touchdown in the loss, and tossed a TD strike to Greg Lee.
