Second-half surge lifts Panthers

Pittsburgh outscored No.23 Cincinnati 14-0 in the second half in Week 8, as the Panthers upset the Bearcats 24-17 at Heinz Field.

The Panthers were 10.5-point home underdogs, and the 41 points scored were UNDER the posted total of 50.5.

Pat Bostick was 19-for-31 for 175 yards, one touchdown and one interception, while LaRod Stephens-Howling had 13 carries for 100 yards and a score for the Panthers.

Ben Mauk went 21-for-32 for 235 yards and a pick, while also running 11 times for 79 yards and a major for the Bearcats.
