Jimmy Scheidler caught three passes in total and converted two into touchdowns Saturday afternoon, as he led the Bowling Green Falcons to a season-opening 27-17 upset victory over the 25th ranked Pittsburgh Panthers.

Bowling Green won the game as 14-point road underdogs, but the 44 points went UNDER the posted total of 53.

Tyler Sheehan completed 22-of-38 pass attempts for 155 yards and a touchdown for the Falcons.

LeSean McCoy carried the ball 24 times for 71 yards and a touchdown for the Panthers.
