Scarlet Knights upset Panthers
Mike Teel threw five of his school-record six touchdown passes in the first half and the Rutgers Scarlet Knights rolled to a stunningly easy 54-34 victory Saturday against the Pittsburgh Panthers.
The Scarlet Knights covered the 9.5-point spread, while the combined score played OVER the day's posted total of 41.
Teel was 14-of-21 for 361 yards while breaking the previous Rutgers record of five TD passes held by two others.
Lesean McCoy had four scoring runs during his fourth consecutive 100-yard game and ended up with 146 yards in the loss.
