Recap - Utes Defeat Pittsburgh 26-14

Utah got a 171-yard performance from John White as a key part of its 26-14 victory over the Panthers on Saturday at Heinz Field.

The Utes were a 6-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 45.5.

Jon Hays completed 14 of 23 pass attempts for 127 yards for the Utes in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.

Ray Graham rushed for 46 yards for Pittsburgh, while Trey Anderson added 24 yards. Tino Sunseri threw for 38 yards for the Panthers, while receivers Ronald Jones and Drew Carswell had 16 and 15 yards respectively.

Pittsburgh was outgained by Utah 251-120 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 19-12 by the Utes.

Pittsburgh lost the time of possession battle 37:59/22:01, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Utah looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against California. Pittsburgh will aim to get back on the winning track vs Connecticut.
