Eagles swoop past Army

Quinton Porter went 15-for-21 for 207 yards and two touchdowns to lead the No.19 Boston College Eagles to a 44-7 victory against the Army Black Knights on Saturday.

The Eagles won this game as 27.5-point favorites and made good on covering the spread at home. The game’s total score of 51 just made it OVER the posted over/under (50.5).

L.V. Whitworth rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries, while Brian Toal picked up two touchdowns on the ground for Boston College.

Tony Gonzalez caught three balls for 75 yards and one touchdown in the win.

Zac Dahman went 17-for-32 for 154 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions in the loss for the Army.
