Seminoles earn win in fourth quarter

The No. 8 Florida State Seminoles scored 14 points in the fourth quarter Saturday to defeat the No. 17 Boston College Eagles by a 28-17 score.

The Seminoles had no trouble covering the 1.5-point spread in this matchup of ranked teams. The combined score went OVER the game’s posted total (37).

Seminoles QB Drew Weatherford went 20-of-38 for 230 yards, throwing two TD passes and getting intercepted once. Greg Carr had two touchdown catches for Florida State, and Lorenzo Booker ran for a Seminoles score.

For the Eagles, Quinton Porter completed 20-of-31 pass attempts for 151 yards. Porter tossed a TD strike to Wil Blackmon, and was picked off twice. L.V. Whitworth ran for a Boston College touchdown.
