The Boston College Eagles were fueled by emotion and rode that energy to a 28-21 win over the Florida State Seminoles at Alumni Stadium in Week 5.

Boston College covered as a 3.5-point home underdog while the final score played over the 45.5-point total.

The Eagles got an emotional push for linebacker Mark Herzlich, who battled cancer and announced he was cancer free before kickoff. Running back Montel Harris rushed for 179 yards and two scores.

The Seminoles were led by QB Christian Ponder passed for 341 yards but was held without a touchdown pass.
