Chippewas pound Bulls

The Central Michigan Chippewas pounded the Buffalo Bulls 55-28 Friday for their sixth win in seven tries.

The Chippewas covered the 15-point spread and the final score sailed OVER the posted total of 48.

Dan LeFevour threw three TD passes, completing 14-of-16 for 294 yards in just one half of work before giving way to backup Brian Brunner.

Backup Stewart Sampsel made good on 15 of 28 for a career-high 161 yards, one interception and a pair of touchdowns, after replacing the injured Tony Paoli in the second quarter.
