Bears smother Bulls

Blake Szymanski threw three touchdown passes and ran for another, as the Baylor Bears defeated the Buffalo Bulls 34-21 Saturday.

Baylor easily covered the 2.5-point spread on the road, while the combined 55 points made it OVER the posted total of 52.

Szymanski completed 21-of-45 pass attempts for 163 yards, and ran for 94 yards off 12 carries to lead the Bears.

James Starks rushed for two touchdowns off 14 carries and caught five passes for 32 yards and a TD for the Bulls.
