Bulls hold high-flying Panthers
The South Florida Bulls held the Pittsburgh Panthers to 267 yards of offence in a 22-12 win at Raymond James Stadium on Saturday.
The Bulls were 4.5-point underdogs to win at home, but the 34 points scored were UNDER the posted total of 44.5.
Matt Grothe went 19-for-25 for 180 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions, and also ran for 54 yards and a score. Ean Randolph had six catches for 47 yards for the Bulls.
Tyler Palko had a horrid day, going 12-for-25 for 189 yards, one touchdown, and three picks, while running for 27 yards. LaRod Stephens-Howling was held to 51 yards on 15 carries for the Panthers.
