Bulls stop Mountaineers in sloppy affair

No.18 South Florida committed four turnovers in Week 5, but forced six as they beat No.5 West Virginia 21-13 at Raymond James Stadium.

The Bulls were 7-point home underdogs, and the 34 points scored were UNDER the posted total of 56.

Matt Grothe was 11-for-20 for 135 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions, while Carlton Mitchell had 55-yard catch for a score for the Bulls.

Pat White was 12-for-18 for 100 yards and a pick, and Steve Slaton was held to 54 yards on 13 carries for the Mountaineers.
