Recap - Orange Defeat South Florida 13-9

Delone Carter ran for 105 yards as Syracuse handled South Florida by a score of 13-9 on Saturday at Raymond James Stadium.

Syracuse was the ATS victor, as they covered the 8-point spread as an underdog. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 45.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Ryan Nassib completed 12 of 22 pass attempts for 129 yards for the Orange in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.

Moise Plancher rushed for 58 yards for South Florida, while Demetris Murray added 30 yards. B.J. Daniels threw for 124 yards for the Bulls, while receivers Dontavia Bogan and Richard Kelly had 67 and 25 yards respectively.

South Florida lost the offensive yardage battle to Syracuse 307-219 yards in Saturday's game. Syracuse had more first downs as that total ended up 17-13.

The time of possession battle favored Syracuse as their offense was on the field for 32:47, longer than the 27:13 of their opponents.

Syracuse looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Pittsburgh. South Florida will aim to get back on the winning track at West Virginia.
