Ryan Boykin tore up the turf for 130 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Bobcats to a 44-7 win over the Thundering Herd at Peden Stadium.

Ohio won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 5-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 48.5.

Tyler Tettleton completed 20 of 29 pass attempts for 285 yards for the Bobcats in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.

Tron Martinez rushed for 72 yards for Marshall, while Travon Van added 68 yards. Rakeem Cato threw for 116 yards for the Thundering Herd, while receivers Aaron Dobson and Troy Evans had 51 and 37 yards respectively.

Ohio outgained Marshall 559-331 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 30-14 by the Bobcats.

Marshall lost the time of possession battle 36:10/23:50, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Ohio heads into a Week 4 battle against Rutgers. Marshall, meanwhile, will have their next action against Virginia Tech.
