Ohio Falls 23-20 to Cardinals - Recap
Jahwan Edwards scampered through the Ohio defense for 123 yards as Ball State handed the Bobcats a 23-20 defeat on Saturday at Peden Stadium.
Ball State was the ATS victor, as they covered the 14.5-point spread as an underdog. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 57.5 were rewarded at the payout window.
Keith Wenning completed 20 of 36 pass attempts for 179 yards for the Cardinals in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Donte Harden rushed for 85 yards for Ohio, while Tyler Tettleton added 30 yards. Tyler Tettleton threw for 246 yards for the Bobcats, while receivers LaVon Brazill and Riley Dunlop had 157 and 59 yards respectively.
Ball State lost the offensive yardage battle to Ohio 413-372 yards in Saturday's game. Ball State had more first downs as that total ended up 20-19.
The time of possession battle favored Ball State as their offense was on the field for 37:16, longer than the 22:44 of their opponents.
Ball State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Central Michigan. Ohio will aim to get back on the winning track at Akron.
