Rebels Fall 52-3 Against LSU - Game Recap
The battle between the Tigers and Rebels didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Mississippi was handed a 52-3 defeat on Saturday at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
The Tigers were a 31.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 46.5.
Jordan Jefferson completed 7 of 7 pass attempts for 88 yards for the Tigers in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Barry Brunetti rushed for 74 yards for Mississippi, while Brandon Bolden added 58 yards. Barry Brunetti threw for 30 yards for the Rebels, while receivers Vince Sanders and Jamal Mosley had 39 and 14 yards respectively.
LSU outgained Mississippi 458-195 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 21-13 by the Tigers.
