Huskies win overtime shootout

Donald Brown II ran it in from ten yards to give the Connecticut Huskies a 46-45 overtime win over the Pittsburgh Panthers at Rentschler Field on Saturday.

The Huskies were 7.5-point underdogs to win at home, and the 91 points scored were OVER the posted total of 40.5.

D.J. Hernandez was 20-for-29 for 164 yards and four touchdowns, while running for 130 himself. Brown II ran for 205 yards and two touchdowns on 43 carries for the Huskies.

Tyler Palko went 20-for-25 for 234 yards and three touchdowns, and LaRod Stephens-Howling had 154 rushing yards and two scores on 32 attempts for the Panthers.
