Mountaineers climb over Panthers

Pat White threw a touchdown pass and ran for two scores Thursday to lead the West Virginia Mountaineers to a 45-13 win over the Pittsburgh Panthers.

The Mountaineers covered the 15-point spread on this night, while the combined score went OVER the posted total (43.5).

White went 4-of-10 for 41 yards passing in the win, with one touchdown pass and one interception. Steve Slaton ran for two scores and had a TD catch. Jahmile Addae returned an interception for a touchdown.

Tyler Palko completed 24-of-44 pass attempts for 308 yards for Pittsburgh, with two TD strikes and two interceptions. Greg Lee had both TD catches for the Panthers.
