Bulls shock Mountaineers

The South Florida Bulls held No.7 West Virginia to 132 rushing yards in a 24-19 upset of the Mountaineers at Mountaineer Field on Saturday.

The Bulls were 21-point road underdogs coming into the game, and the 43 points scored were UNDER the posted total of 54.

Matt Grothe was 22-for-30 for 272 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions, while also running for 51 yards and a score. Ean Randolph added 63 yards and a major in seven receptions for the Bulls.

Pat White went 14-for-22 for 179 yards, two touchdowns, and two picks, while running for only 17 yards. Steve Slaton was held to 43 yards on 18 carries for the Mountaineers.
