Spartans dump lowly Bulldogs

The San Jose State Spartans jumped out to a 14-0 first quarter lead and never looked back as they defeated the lowly Fresno State Bulldogs 24-14 Saturday.

San Jose State covered the 3-point spread and the game’s 38 points fell well UNDER the posted total of 49.

Adam Tafralis threw three touchdown passes and rushed for a career-high 76 yards for the New Mexico Bowl-bound San Jose State.

Dwayne Wright rushed for 106 yards and scored a touchdown for the Bulldogs who had their three-game winning streak snapped.
