Beavers battle back to bite Cougars
The Oregon State Beavers roared back from a big halftime deficit to knock off the undefeated Washington State Cougars 44-33 on Saturday.
The Beavers were a 1-point underdog despite being at home and emerged as the ATS winners. The combined points scored of 77 was OVER the posted over/under mark of 57 1/2. The Beavers trailed 30-16 at the half.
Oregon QB Matt Moore finished 20-of-45 in passing for 302 yards and one TD. RB Yvenson Bernard carried the ball 28 times for 87 yards and two majors.
Cougars' QB Alex Brink was good on 31 of 59 passing attempts for 493 yards and one TD, but was intercepted four times and sacked twice. RB Jerome Harrison had a huge day with 30 carries for 134 yards and three touchdowns.
Oregon State improves to 3-2 on the season, while Washington State falls to 3-1.
