Beavers notch huge upset over Trojans
The Oregon State Beavers upset the powerful No. 3 USC Trojans 33-31 Saturday as they lose for just the first time this season.
Oregon State won the game as 11-point underdogs at home and the game’s combined score sailed OVER the posted total of (46.5).
Matt Moore threw for 259 yards, completing 20-of-31 with one touchdown and rushed for another, while getting sacked six times as the Beavers are now 5-3 overall.
USC suffered its first loss of the season, despite quarterback John David Booty’s 326 yard performance. Booty completed two touchdowns and threw one interception.
