Cowboys fall a TD short of Tigers
Marcus Woods scored two touchdowns Saturday as the Missouri Tigers topped the Oklahoma State Cowboys 38-31 in a high-scoring contest.
The Tigers had been favored by 5 points in this game, and managed to cover that spread and make their supporters some cash. The combined score went well OVER the game’s posted total (51).
Tigers QB Brad Smith went 19-of-25 for 194 yards passing in the win. Jimmy Jackson and Brad Ekwerekwu rushed for Missouri scores, and Sean Coffey had a TD catch.
For the losing Cowboys, Bobby Reid was good on 11-of-20 pass attempts for 156 yards. Julius Crosslin picked up two rushing TDs for Oklahoma State, and D’Juan Woods caught a pass in the end zone.
