Recap - Cowboys Defeat Kansas 70-28
Kansas couldn't hang with the Cowboys on Saturday as Oklahoma State blasted the Jayhawks 70-28 in Week 6 action at Boone Pickens Stadium.
Oklahoma State was the ATS victor, as they covered the 31-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 74.5 were rewarded at the payout window.
Brandon Weeden completed 24 of 28 pass attempts for 288 yards for the Cowboys in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Tony Pierson rushed for 54 yards for Kansas, while James Sims added 41 yards. Jordan Webb threw for 316 yards for the Jayhawks, while receivers Tim Biere and JaCorey Shepherd had 93 and 82 yards respectively.
Kansas lost the offensive yardage battle to Oklahoma State 600-478 yards in Saturday's game. Oklahoma State had more first downs as that total ended up 27-24.
The time of possession battle favored Kansas as their offense was on the field for 35:14, longer than the 24:46 of their opponents.
