The battle between the Horned Frogs and Rebels didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as UNLV was handed a 56-9 defeat on Saturday at Amon Carter Stadium.
The Horned Frogs were a 39-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 54.5.
Casey Pachall completed 15 of 22 pass attempts for 185 yards for the Horned Frogs in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Bradley Randle rushed for 71 yards for UNLV, while Tim Cornett added 25 yards. Taylor Barnhill threw for 48 yards for the Rebels, while receivers Austin Harrington and Michael Johnson had 29 and 17 yards respectively.
UNLV lost the offensive yardage battle to TCU 385-164 yards in Saturday's game. TCU had more first downs as that total ended up 19-6.
The time of possession battle favored UNLV as their offense was on the field for 30:13, longer than the 29:47 of their opponents.
