Hurricanes knock off Cavaliers

The No. 10 ranked Miami Hurricanes improved to 9-2 on the season with a 25-17 victory over a tough-fighting team from Virginia Saturday in Miami.

The Hurricanes came in as 17.5-point favorites, but despite winning, could not cover the spread. The game's 42 points fell just UNDER the posted total (46.5).

QB Kyle Wright of Miami went 23-for-30 and 248 yards, with one touchdown in the win. Marques Hagans went 15-for-28 and 203 yards in the loss.

The Cavaliers lost despite gaining more net yards than the No. 10 ranked Hurricanes.
