Tigers roar past Bulldogs
The LSU Tigers opened their season with a 45-0 pounding of the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Thursday night.
LSU easily covered the 20.5-point spread, while the final score was a PUSH against the posted total of 45.
Keiland Williams and Ryan Perrilloux both ran for a pair of touchdowns to lead the Tigers, and QB Matt Flynn was good on 12-of-19 pass attempts for 129 yards with two touchdowns.
Michael Henig completed 11 passes for 119 yards for the Bulldogs, but he was intercepted six times in the crushing loss.
