Quick start pushes New Mexico State

Chase Holbrook threw three touchdowns in the first quarter as the New Mexico State Aggies pounded the Utah State Aggies 42-20 at Romney Stadium on Saturday.

New Mexico State covered the 6.5-point spread on the road, and the 62 points scored were OVER the posted total of 55.

Holbrook was 16-for-20 for 287 yards and a total of four touchdown passes, while Chris Williams had seven catches for 161 yards and three majors for the Aggies.

Leon Jackson went 12-for-25 for 146 yards and two touchdowns, while running for 48 yards. Kevin Robinson had four receptions for 101 yards and a score for Utah State.
