Recap - Miners Defeat Southern Methodist 28-14
The Miners grabbed a Week 10 victory over the Mustangs on Saturday, winning 28-14 at Sun Bowl.

Texas El Paso was outgained by Southern Methodist 359-319 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 22-21 by the Miners.
The time of possession battle favored Southern Methodist as their offense was on the field for 30:31, longer than the 29:29 of their opponents.
Next game, Texas El Paso takes its act on the road to face Arkansas looking for another win. For Southern Methodist, they head home to face Marshall.
