Spartans thump Hoosiers
Drew Stanton completed 17-of-31 passes for 245 yards, two touchdowns and added TD on the ground to lead the Michigan State Spartans to a 46-15 win over the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday.
The Spartans came into this matchup as 17-point favorites and were successful on covering the spread. The game’s final score fell UNDER the posted over/under (64).
Javon Ringer rushed for 110 yards and a TD on 11 carries, and Jehuu Caulcrick ran for 59 yards and a touchdown in the win. Kerry Reed and Terry Love had a touchdown reception each for the Spartans.
Hoosiers’ QB Blake Powers threw for 200 yards and two touchdowns but was also picked off three times in the loss. James Hardy was on the receiving end of both touchdowns.
