Chippewas knock off Bobcats

Kent Smith threw for 227 yards and two touchdowns and added another score on the ground to lead the Central Michigan Chippewas to a 37-10 win over the Ohio Bobcats on Saturday.

The Chippewas came into this game as 6-point favorites and were successful on covering the spread. The game’s combined 47 points just made it OVER the posted over/under (46).

Ontario Sneed rushed for 74 yards and a TD and added a touchdown catch in the win. Justin Harper had 55 yards receiving and touchdown and Damian Linson returned a punt for an 86-yard TD for the Chippewas.

Austen Everson threw a 38-yard touchdown pass to Scott Mayle in the loss for Ohio.
