Ground game, defence powers Ohio

The Ohio Bobcats allowed only 227 yards of offence, and ran for 278 as they downed the Eastern Michigan Eagles 16-10 at Rynearson Stadium on Saturday.

The Bobcats just missed covering the 6.5-point spread on the road, and the 26 points scored were UNDER the posted total of 38.5.

Austen Everson went 7-for-12 for 46 yards, but ran 16 times for 79 yards. Kelvin MacRae rushed for 141 yards and a score on 23 carries for the Bobcats.

Tyler Jones was held to 107 yards and an interception on 13-for-25 passing, and also ran for 52 yards and a touchdown. Trumaine Riley caught six balls for 35 yards for the Eagles.
