Broncos storm past Wolf Pack

Jared Zabransky completed 12-of-16 passes for 180 yards, two passing touchdowns and rushed for a TD to lead the Boise State Broncos to a 49-14 win over the Nevada Wolf Pack on Saturday.

The Broncos came into today’s game as a 17.5-point favorite and were successful on covering the spread. The game’s combined 63 points fell UNDER the posted total (67).

Antwaun Carter had a pair of rushing touchdowns, while Ian Johnson and Jeff Carpenter added a TD on the ground each for the Broncos. Legedu Naanee made four catches for 70 yards and two touchdowns in the win.

Jeff Rowe threw for 307 yards and a touchdown to receiver Caleb Spencer in the loss, and Robert Hubbard added a TD on the ground for the Wolf Pack.
