Cornhuskers bury Wolverines in Alamo Bowl
Zac Taylor threw a 13-yard TD to Terrence Nunn with under five minutes to go in the game on Wednesday to lift the Nebraska Cornhuskers to a 32-28 win over the No. 20 Michigan Wolverines in the Alamo Bowl.
The Cornhuskers won this game as 10.5-point underdogs. The game’s combined 60 points went OVER the posted total (49).
Taylor finished the game completing 14-of-31 passes for 167 yards, with three touchdowns and two interceptions. Nunn made four catches for 93 yards and two touchdowns, while Nate Smith had one TD catch. Cory Ross ran for 161 yards and a TD on 28 carries for Nebraska.
Chad Henne passed for 216 yards and three touchdowns, while adding 38 yards and TD on the ground in the loss for the Wolverines.
