Red Raiders set bowl record

The Texas Tech Red Raiders fell behind by 31 points before scoring 24 in the final quarter, and then stunning the Minnesota Golden Gophers 44-41 in double overtime in the Insight Bowl at Sun Devil Stadium on Friday, to complete the largest bowl comeback of all time.

The Red Raiders did not cover the 8-point home spread, and the 85 points scored were OVER the posted total of 64.5.

Graham Harrell was 36-for-55 for 445 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception, and Joel Filani caught 11 passes for 162 yards and a score. Shannon Woods ran 19 times for 108 yards and three scores for the Red Raiders.

Bryan Cupito went 19-for-30 for 263 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception, with Jack Simmonds adding seven receptions for 134 yards and a score. Amir Pinnix had 34 carries for 178 yards and a major for the Golden Gophers.
