Gators rout Buckeyes for BCS title

The No. 2 Florida Gators defense allowed just 82 net yards as they routed the No. 1 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes 41-14 Monday night to win the BCS National Championship.

Florida won the game as a 7.5-point underdog in Glendale, Arizona. The combined 55 points sailed OVER the posted total of 47.

The Gators had three rushing touchdowns with backup quarterback Tim Tebow earning one off the ground and passing for another TD in the upset win.

Antonio Pittman rushed for a touchdown and Ted Ginn Jr. returned a kickoff for a 93-yard TD in the loss where the Buckeyes managed just six first downs in their only loss of the season.
