Bearcats Fall 31-29 Against Oklahoma - Game Recap
Landry Jones led the way with 370 passing yards on Saturday as the Sooners picked up a 31-29 victory over the Bearcats at Paul Brown Stadium.
Oklahoma did not, however, defeat the Bearcats against the spread, which closed at 14 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 52.5.
DeMarco Murray rushed for 67 yards, while Mossis Madu added 28 yards in the win. Ryan Broyles and Kenny Stills added 100 and 72 receiving yards respectively.
Isaiah Pead rushed for 169 yards for Cincinnati, while John Goebel added 4 yards. Zach Collaros threw for 305 yards for the Bearcats, while receivers D.J. Woods and Anthony McClung had 171 and 58 yards respectively.
Oklahoma lost the offensive yardage battle to Cincinnati 461-452 yards in Saturday's game. Oklahoma had more first downs as that total ended up 27-22.
The time of possession battle favored Oklahoma as their offense was on the field for 32:29, longer than the 27:31 of their opponents.
Oklahoma looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Texas. Cincinnati will aim to get back on the winning track vs Miami (Ohio).
