Texans Fall 25-3 Against Indianapolis - Game Recap
The battle between the Colts and Texans didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Houston was handed a 25-3 defeat on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The Colts were a 6-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 47.5.
Andrew Luck completed 19 of 32 pass attempts for 180 yards and 2 TDs for the Colts in the win. He was picked off 1 time by the Texans defense.
Ben Tate rushed for 72 yards for Houston, while Deji Karim added 21 yards. Case Keenum threw for 168 yards for the Texans, while receivers Ryan Griffin and DeAndre Hopkins had 62 and 52 yards respectively.
Houston was outgained by Indianapolis 331-239 yards in Sunday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 19-12 by the Colts.
Houston lost the time of possession battle 33:11/26:49, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Indianapolis looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Chiefs. The Texans will aim to get back on the winning track vs Denver.
