Seminoles vs Tigers Final: 51-14 - Recap

Jameis Winston sliced and diced the Tigers defense for 444 yards as Florida State handed Clemson a 51-14 defeat on Saturday at Memorial Stadium.

Florida State won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 4.5-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 63.5.

Devonta Freeman rushed for 84 yards, while Karlos Williams added 19 yards in the win. Nick O'Leary and Rashad Greene added 161 and 146 receiving yards respectively.

Roderick McDowell rushed for 61 yards for Clemson, while D.J. Howard added 26 yards. Tajh Boyd threw for 156 yards for the Tigers, while receivers Sammy Watkins and Martavis Bryant had 68 and 46 yards respectively.

Florida State outgained Clemson 565-326 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 30-26 by the Seminoles.

Clemson lost the time of possession battle 35:21/24:39, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Florida State takes its act home to face North Carolina State looking for another win. For Clemson, they head on the road to face Maryland.
