Recap - Cougars Defeat Georgia Tech 38-20

The Yellow Jackets came up short against the Cougars in Week 7 action on Saturday, falling 38-20 at LaVell Edwards Stadium.

The Cougars were a 7-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 54.5.

Taysom Hill completed 19 of 27 pass attempts for 244 yards for the Cougars in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.

Matt Connors rushed for 55 yards for Georgia Tech, while Vad Lee added 41 yards. Vad Lee threw for 133 yards for the Yellow Jackets, while receivers Robert Godhigh and Micheal Summers had 52 and 49 yards respectively.

Georgia Tech was outgained by BYU 433-400 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 26-18 by the Cougars.

BYU lost the time of possession battle 36:43/23:17, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

BYU looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Houston. Georgia Tech will aim to get back on the winning track vs Syracuse.
